May Day

Today Total: 10k
Week Total: 10k
Month Total: 10k
Year Total: 977k

After 17 days straight of training (2 of which were bike only) I decided to heed the signs from Saturday and declared Sunday a rest day. A bit of a bugger it being my long run day as I haven't missed a weekend long run in a long time - certainly not in '06.

Funny how the mind game works because when the alarm went off this morning my thoughts were "well you missed yesterday, another day is not going to hurt......" - well it probably wouldn't, but that's not the point, get your ass out of bed!

So another 10k trudge @ 140bpm.

Done..... next.....

It must've been so tempting not to rest on Sunday considering how close you are to the big 1000 mark. Guess its gonna happen in the next couple of days. Hope you make note of exactly where you are when it does. I'm excited!

Consistancy is the key and you are doing well at building a good platform for PMC.

Ouch! It doesn't sound like you're enjoying this 2P, but you're doing really well to stick with it.

Its so true, I always say to people who ask me 'how to you get up so early?', that its easy so longs I dont miss a day, and certainly not two, because geez its pretty dam hard getting back in to it... well done for keeping going!

PS: I have done some 305 research, red makes it all the more inticing ;)

Next? Something short and high HR? Just guessing.

That 5k was a 'good blah run' 2P. Regarding the sprint finish... everyone has the alactic energy for a sprint finish. Tell them they might as well use it for a bonus 4 or 5 seconds (even if not trying to beat a rival).
